The Tool-Kit for Indigenous Peoples on Jurisdictional REDD Standards is designed to support Indigenous Peoples and local communities to engage with, contribute to and strengthen jurisdictional REDD+ standards, with a particular focus on environmental and social safeguards.

Developed by Climate Law and Policy, the Tool-Kit provides accessible, practical and technically grounded materials to help Indigenous Peoples and local communities understand key jurisdictional REDD+ standards and assess how safeguards are addressed within them. It supports informed participation in REDD+ processes, including engagement with standards, safeguards requirements and implementation approaches that may affect Indigenous Peoples, local communities, territories, rights and livelihoods.

The Tool-Kit includes dedicated booklets covering the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility, REDD+, ART TREES, and the VCS Jurisdictional and Nested REDD+ Framework. It also includes additional ART TREES booklets focused on the specific requirements and approaches relating to each of the Cancun Safeguards.

Materials are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, supporting use across different country and stakeholder contexts.
