Pale Blue Dot is a startup that develops projects to promote biodiversity through biodiversity credits, as defined by the UNDP. The team is currently validating the CREDIBBIO model, which is a species-specific biodiversity credit aimed at protecting endangered species, particularly plants, but it can also be applied to certain animal species. The methodology will be submitted for certification under Cercarbono’s Biodiversity Certificate Programme Protocol.
The company plans to develop other credit models in the later stages of its implementation.
