The Enarau Conservancy in northern Maasai Mara is experiencing severe land degradation from agricultural expansion, leading to habitat fragmentation. This project aims to restore habitat connectivity, conserve unique ecosystems and foster coexistence. Collaboration with academic institutions for research and monitoring and engagement with neighbouring pastoralist communities (whose traditional knowledge is crucial) will enhance the project’s impact and ensure long-term sustainability.
