3Bee

An Italian nature tech firm, 3Bee, is launching a voluntary biodiversity credit offsetting framework in Europe. The company is piloting 250 projects in Italy, France, Germany and Spain between spring 2024 and 2025, and expects to generate its first certified biodiversity credits in 2025. The framework, developed in collaboration with several universities and certification bodies, will support companies in measuring and enhancing biodiversity at their sites using bioacoustics and remote sensing technologies.
